Hi my loves!

I feel like it’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a fashion post (OOTD), I have been posting them on Instagram but come on I know you guys like when I ramble on (right?) haha… well anyways.. today’s OOTD is well I guess you would call it a chic/modern look. I sometimes am the worst at describing outfits! But I love love love this dress I got from Feather and Noise  It is a cross over between comfort and chic, can it get any better?

In canberra it has been quite chilly and as much as much as I love the cold weather I get cold easy so I need to stay rugged up. I wouldn’t usually wear tights with a dress like this but I was cold so I wore it but I knew this dress would look perfect with the addition of my sock boots. It really complimented the dress as it wasn’t really an overkill, I wanted the dress to still remain the star of this outfit. Same goes with my hair, if you find you are trying to create an outfit and you want certain things to stand out you need to make sure the other things are simple so for my hair I just sleeked it into a low pony tail. As this dress has the collar done up completely if I had my down it would have taken away from that and made me look not so put together.

Of course we all have our different ways on how we style certain pieces so you just need to find what works for you best!

So lets talk price, this dress $89. Which isn’t too bad for a dress that is so versatile, you can dress it up and dress it down with some converses (or whatever sneakers you like)

My favourite tip for shopping is buy it if you will get more than 1 use of out it, especially items that area a bit more expensive. I know with this particular dress I will dress it down with some sneakers and chuck my hair up in a bun and it will be just as rocking as this chic look.

Now a product can’t just have pros, now for the cons the material crinkles really easily which is something I hate. But if you can get past it, it is worth it!

Now something that is 100% worth it, these damn sock boots! I love them sooooooo much, I highly recommend investing in them. They are so gorgeous and they suit so many outfits it is crazy. Mine are from Rubi Shoes and I know a lot of other brands do similar styles. Have a browse around and you’ll find what you are looking for.
